Be cautious

After transferring files successfully using this app, it's made the phone non-recognizable in itunes.

Checked some forums, and saw another person mentioning this same issue.

Now we have to factory reset phone to square one....

Waiting for support to tell me otherwise. Have iPhone6 with iOS 9...

I’m sorry to hear about your iPhone not being recognized in iTunes and having to factory. iExplorer wouldn’t cause anything like that since it never connects directly to an Apple device. iExplorer uses the iTunes interface to connect with a device and just taps into it’s connection with the device. So, we don’t do any unique or customize connection and is partially done to ensure something like that doesn’t happen. We rely on iTunes so that everything is fully compatible and meant to work together.

iExplorer also would never remove any data from your device or affect its operating system or files. Our article below explains more:

You might consider contacting AppleCare at https://getsupport.apple.com/ to see if they have any other solutions before resetting to factory settings.
